Is there a fax number for registration forms, due to the mail strike? I have 2 registrants from the Windsor area, Thanks

When I emailed Barb O’Malley, our OHA Convention Registrar with regards to whether or not she had a fax number for receiving registrations during the postal strike, here was her reply:
Sorry, I do not have a fax. Forms can be scanned in and emailed. Or, failing that, they can email me all the information that is on the form, and I will fill one in for them. When you are replying, make sure they understand that they are obligated to make payment, once I enter their registration. Barb
So there you have it. Scan the registration form into the computer and email it to Barb O’Malley at firstname.lastname@example.org . You can mail your payment as soon as the post office strike is over or bring it in person to the Convention if the strike continues up to then.
See you at Convention!

Just checked on hotel registration at Radisson and response for July 14-16 is no rooms available and I don’t see any other accomodation suggestions on the convention web site. What do you suggest?

If you refer to the Convention website www:agrowingexperience.ca, you will fiind an article called “NO ROOM AT THE INN” which was posted last November 2011. This same information was available in the Trillium as well.
Nevertheless, here is the article with info re four other hotels that are located within minutes of the Radisson (see attachment).
Hope this helps. I expected that the Radisson would fill up quickly but don’t give up hope. Check out the Days Inn first.

That is great news! We have close to 20+ coming from the Sault so it should be a great reunion.

You are right. We are going to have an exciting time at Convention this year. We have organized a lot of really cool activities, gathered up the most intersting speakers we could find and are working really hard with the Sudbury community to deliver an event worthy of attending. Don’t forget to bring your trowel so you can participate in our Thursday evening guerrilla gardening foray in downtown Sudbury.

I am from Flamborough Horticulture Society and hope to attend the Convention. The introduction to the events presented during the Barrie Convention sounded really exciting.
